Present Perfect Tense Have/has+past participle(fiillerin 3. hali) I’ve seen that film before. You haven’t seen that film. He’s seen that film twice before. Olumsuz soru 2 şekilde yapılır. Have you not seen that movie. Haven’t you seen that movie. Geçmişte yaptığımız eylemleri zaman vermeden anlatırken kullanırız. She has moved all the furtniture in the house. They have painted their house. Eğer zaman belirtirsek Past Tense kullanmalıyız. They painted their house last week.
Present Perfect Tense Geçmişte yaptığımız eylemi anlatırken zaman zarfı kullanmasak da bir zamanı ima ediyorsan yine Past Tense kullanırız. I saw that movie when I was in Ankara. I met her in İzmir. Sorulara yanıt verirken de dikkat edilmeli. Have you met his girl friend? Yes, I have/Yes I met her last week. Have you seen my glasses? Yes ,I have/Yes, I saw them on the table a few minutes ago. Yakın geçmişte olup sonuçları devam ediyorsa I have burnt myself. I haven’t been able to go on holiday this summer. Technology has advanced greatly in this century.
Present Perfect Tense Lately, recently ile kullanımı: Have you seen your parents recently? There has been great progress in the science of medicine recently. There have been some changes in my house lately. Already, just, yet ile kullanımı: Have you finished your homework yet? Is the manager in? No, he has just gone out. Shall we go to see the film “Fast and Furious” tonight? I have already seen it. Ever, never, all my life, in his life, always, occasionally, often, several times, once, twice ile kullanımı: I have always got up early. She has invited me many times. I’ve never seen such a pretty girl in my life. I’ve been to Germany several times. I’ve seen him only once.
Present Perfect Tense So far ile kullanımı: For ve since kullanımı: It hasn’t snowed so far this winter. I got many bad grades last semester. But I have had good grades so far this semester. We haven’t eaten anything so far today. For ve since kullanımı: “For” geçmişte belli bir noktadan içinde bulunduğumuz ana kadar devam eden bir süreç bildirir. ”for two years, for a month” She has been the manager for 3 months. “since” eylemin geçmişteki başlangıç noktasını belirtir. I’ve been Asst. Prof. since 2002.

It’s 3 months since I last went to the cinema. It’s 3 months since I have been to the cinema. Sinemaya gitmeyeli 3 ay oluyor. En son sinemaya gittiğimden beri 3 ay oldu.

He is the most talkative person I have met in my life. ”gone” mu “been” mi? Gitmek üzere yola çıkmışsa “gone”, daha önce bulunduğunu ifade ediyorsa “been”: I’d like to talk to your mother. Present Perfect Continuous Tense Geçmişte başlayıp içinde bulunduğumuz anda hala devam eden olayları anlatmak için kullanırız. For, since, all day, all week gibi zaman zarflarıyla sık kullanılır. I started to read this book two hours ago. I am still reading it. I’ve been reading this book for two hours. It started to rain yesterday morning and it is still raining. It has been raining since yesterday morning. You have been working hard all week. You should take some time to relax. Geçmişte başlamış içinde bulunduğumuz anda henüz bitmiş ancak belirtileri devam ediyorsa: Is that child crying? No but his eyes are watery. He has been crying. Your hands are covered in oil. What have you been doing? I have been fixing the car.
Present Perfect Mi Perfect Continuous Mu? Expect, lie, rain, snow, study, want, hope, live, sleep, stand, teach, work, learn, look, sit, stay, wait gibi fiiller iki tense ile de kullanılabilir. How long have you lived/been living in this city? She has worked/been working in that firm for the last two years. Perfect Continuous always, never, sometimes gibi sıklık bildiren zarflarla once, twice, several times gibi eylemin kaç kez yapıldığını bildiren yapılarla, just already, yet gibi eylemin bittiğini bildiren yapılarda kullanılmaz. I have always lived here. I have lived here all my life.
