She/He/It has eaten her breakfast. I/We/They/You have seen the film.

He/She/It hasn’t eaten anything. I/We/They/You haven’t seen the film.

9 Bu konu İngilizce öğrenen insanlar için belki de en zor konulardan birisidir. Gerekçesi böyle bir kullanım pek çok dilde vardır ama ayrıca bir isim olarak yoktur. Aynı sıkıntı Türkçemizde de mevcuttur. Biz bu konuyu 2 grupta inceleyebiliriz: Geçmiş Zaman Geçmişten günümüze gelen olaylardan bahsederken

11 A sütununda geçmiş zamandan bahsetmemize rağmen olayın ne zaman olduğunu bildirmiyoruz yani şu ana kadar her hangi bir noktada her hangi bir zamanda böyle bir olay gerçekleşti mi manasındadır

12 B sütununda ise yine geçmiş zamandan bahsediyoruz ancak bu kez görüldüğü gibi zaman noktaları belirtilmiştir. Yani siz bu olayı zikredilen geçmiş zamandaki noktada yaptınız mı diye bir soru gelmektedir.

15 Geçmiş zamanda olmuş ama şimdiki zamanla bir şekilde ilişkisi olan olayları
anlatmak için kullanılır. Böyle bir durumda hem geçmiş zamanı , hem de şimdiki zamanı aynı anda göz önünde bulundurmak gerekir.

18 Yakın geçmişte olmuş bir olay ya da haberi zaman bildirmeden present perfect tense kullanarak ifade edebiliriz. I have seen that play before. Let´s go to another play.

19 Geçmişten bugüne doğru ilerlemekte olan zaman dilimi içinde tekrarladığımız eylemleri ifade etmek için present perfect tense kullanılabilir.

21 Gelecek zaman anlatan iki cümleyi birleştiren bağlacın bulunduğu cümleciğin ´simple present tense´ olabileceğini biliyoruz. Fakat, zaman cümleciğinin içindeki eylemin tamamlanmış olacağını vurgulamak gerektiğinde ´present perfect´ kullanılabilir. You can go out with your friends when you have done the ironing. After you have finished reading the instructions, you can start using the washing machine.

22 Just, yet, already, still, present perfect tense ile sıklıkla kullanılan sözcüklerdir. Ancak bu sözcüklerin kullanımlarının sadece present perfect tense ile sınırlı olmadığını da unutmamak gerekir.

24 SINCE Present Perfect Tense ile sıklıkla kullanılan bir yapdır ve Türkçe´de “-den beri” anlamına gelir. Geçmiş zamanda bir noktaya işaret eder ve bu zaman yapısıyla kullanıldığında, o noktadan günümüze doğru hareket bildirir. ´Since´ geçmiş zaman zarfıyla veya geçmiş zaman anlatan cümlelerle kullanılabilir.

32 STILL “Hala devam ediyor, bitmedi” anlamını verir. He has been looking for a job, but he still hasn’t found one.

33 YET “Henüz, daha değil” anlamını verebilir. Olumsuz cümlelerde ve soru cümlelerinde kullanılır. I haven’t heard from him yet. She hasn’t watered the trees yet. Have you cleaned the flat yet? Have you sent your invitations to your friends yet?

34 NOT: “still not” or “not yet”: Verdiği anlam ve yaptığı vurgu itibariyle “still not” yapısı, geçmişe dönük bir bakış yapar. “not yet” yapısı ise geleceğe dönük bir bakış yapar. EX: We still haven’t found a good manager yet. (Geçmişe dönük anlam: Diyelim ki geçen Mayıs ayından bu yana iyi bir müdür bulamadık ve durum hala sürüyor). EX: We haven’t found a good manager yet. (Geleceğe dönük anlam: Bu ana dek hala iyi bir müdür bulamadık ancak umuyoruz ki gelecekte bulacağız).

35 ALREADY “Zaten, çoktan” gibi anlamlar verir. Bir şeyin önceden gerçekleştiğini anlatır. -You must read this article. +Well, I have already read it - Clean the car. + I have already cleaned it.

There has been a lot of disturbance recently. The architects have built several buildings lately.. Nobody has cleaned this room up to the present. They have watered seven fields so far. The patient has only drunk water till now

37 Have you ever seen a Negro? (-Şimdiye kadar- hiç zenci gördün mü?)
I have never visited a foreign country. (-Şimdiye kadar- hiç yabancı ülke görmedim.) He is the tallest man I've ever seen. (O -şimdiye kadar- gördüğüm en uzun adamdır.) ! Bazen “ever” yerine başka kelimeler kullanılır ama verdikleri mana “ever” in verdiği manalar gibidir. This is the first man he has lent money. Kişi gittiği yerde bulunuyorsa henüz oradan dönmemişse veya o yere gitmek üzere yoldaysa gone to kullanılır. They are on holiday. They have gone to Rome.

42 She has never been abroad.
Eğer kişi gittiği yerden dönmüşse ve o kişinin o yerde konuşma anından önce bir zamanlar bulunduğu anlatılmak isteniyorsa been to kullanılır. She has never been abroad. I have been to the Philippines three times.

43 It is + (period) + since + Present Perfect/Simple Tense
Since bağlacı birden fazla zaman ilişkisi içinde kullanılabilir. It is two months since I last drove. (past tense) It is two months since I have driven.(present perfect)
