What is Lifelong Learning? A concept which includes an individual’s personal, social and career development throughout his/her lifetime. An essential approach for a good citizen, good human being, and strong person. It is the bedrock/foundation for living one’s life independently without needing others’ support for survival.

What is Lifelong Learning? Lifelong Learning is the accumulation of experiences obtained from formal, nonformal and informal learning activities in lifetime. Lifelong learning principle: not limited to the classroom- It occurs at work, at home, in a museum, in a library, and wherever there is life exists.

Why Lifelong Learning is Important? To keep up with continuous change, To be a world citizen, To do efficient and effective work, To get recognition when you are in and among different societies,

European Council and Parliament proposed eight competencies for successful Lifelong Learning.
