Marbled paper or "Ebru" is an art form that was developed in Turkey in the fifteenth century. Mineral and vegetable dyes are sprinkled on water mixed with gum and the gall fluid of cattle, over which a sheet of paper is laid, creating unique and unrepeatable patterns. Traditionally, this paper was used for borders on Ottoman panels and miniatures, and for the inside covers and flyleaves of books. Today the art of marbling continues. Mineral ve bitkisel boyalar içinde sakız ve sığır safra sıvısı bulunan karışımın içine serpilir ve üzerine konan bir kağıda benzersiz ve tekrar aynısının yapılamadığı desenler oluşturulur. Carpets and rugs are parts of the Turkish lifestyle and actually they have a long history. According to the history experts, the history of Turkish carpets and rugs is dates back to about 3000 years. Turkish people still use carpets and rugs, I know every country’s people use carpets and rugs but Turkish generally prefer the classical ones. Turkish carpets and rugs produced everywhere but, at some cities like Corum, Usak etc, women produce these carpets and rugs with hand and they are really worth to see, their prices are generally high, too. KARAGÖZ and HACİVAT Karagöz & Hacivat is a Turkish shadow play taking its name from its main character Karagöz. The origin of the shadow plays is accepted as southeastern part of Asia Turkish traveler Evliya Çelebi says that the play was first performed at the Ottoman palaces in the late 14th century. Karagöz ve Hacivat bir Türk gölge oyunu olup adını ana karakteri olan Karagöz’den almıştır. Gölge oyunlarının kökeni Asya'nın güneydoğusu olarak kabul edilir. Türk seyyah Evliya Çelebi oyunun ilk kez 14. yüzyılda Osmanlı saraylarında gerçekleştirildiğini söylüyor.

UNESCO, due to the 800th anniversary of Mevlana's birth, declared the year 2007 as Mevlana and Tolerance year.The universality of his thought finds its reflection in, for example, the famous verses where he says:Come! Come whoever you are. Doesn't matter if you are an unbeliever. Doesn't matter if you have fallen a thousand times. Come! Come whoever you are. For this is not the door of hopelessness. Come, Just as you are!A Dervish is a Muslim religious man who is undergoing an apprenticeship of learning the profession that will best show him with eternal livelihood. Mevlâna büyük bir filozoftur. Mevlana, 13. yüzyılda yaşamış eserleriyle döneminin çok ilerisinde bir sufi olup insanlar arasında herhangi bir ayrım yapmamıştır. Bunun yanı sıra onun merhamet, gönül ve sınırsız insaniyet duygusuyla beraber, sonsuz hoşgörüsü vardı ve bu özellikleriyle sadece İslam dünyasını değil, aynı zamanda bütün insanlığı etkilemiştir.
