2 Superlative form üç veya daha fazla şey hakkında konuşurken
"en" uzun, "en" kısa gibi ifadelerle bir tanesini ayırmak için kullanılır. Örnek: New York is the most exciting city in the USA          (New York Amerika'nın en heyecan verici şehridir.)

3 Örnek Cümleler New York is the noisiest city in the USA
Örnek Cümleler New York is the noisiest city in the USA. (New York Amerika'daki en gürültülü şehirdir.) Örnek Cümleler London is the most expensive city in England. (Londra İngiltere'deki en pahalı şehirdir) Örnek Cümleler Today is the hottest day of the summer. (Bugün yazın en sıcak günü)   Örnek: happy - the happiest / funny - the funniest Örnek: interesting - the most interesting / difficult - the most difficult Örnek: cheap - the cheapest / hot - the hottest / high - the highest  Sıfatın başına The getirilir. Sıfatın sonundaki "y"yi kaldırın ve yerine "iest" getirin.  Sıfattan önce "the most" getirin . Sıfattan önce "the" getirin ve sıfatın sonuna "est" ekleyin Sonu "y" ile biten iki heceli sıfatlar İki, üç veya daha çok heceli sıfatlar Tek heceli sıfatlar
