2 Nursing Reference Center
Hastabaşı bakım, eğitim ve hemşire pratiği hakkında klinik bilgi sunar. En son bilgilerin yer aldığı kanıta dayalı web tabanlı hemşirelik referans sistemidir. Nursing Reference Center was created to satisfy immediate nursing needs (point-of-care) but also to stimulate the spirit of inquiry and research into the literature.

3 The NRC homepage is nurse-friendly and easy to use.
The top toolbar includes A-Z lists. So, for example, if you open the Drug Information tab, you’ll see an alphabetized list of all drugs that are contained in our two drug resources. Then, you could browse either resource. The FIND box allows your search term, for example STROKE. You can use the nursing process limiters to refine your search to only those aspects of nursing care that are important for your current need. For example, if you were interested in the immediate nursing care needs of a patient who has had a stroke, you might limit my search to Assessment and Diagnosis. Key Features describes NRC’s core content. Nursing news provides a daily look at what’s happening in health care news. Editorial Team & Policies is important for new customers to read. It explains out methodology for creating the content in NRC, and describes our rigorous processes for summarizing the best available evidence. Take our Tour provides a short tutorial to help the new user get started. Search Other Services is an area where the user can add links to other web sites. This is important because hospital policies and procedures from the hospital’s nursing or library page can be quickly accessed from here. This helps users see that NRC is a shared resource for all health care professionals. 3

30 Sürekli Eğitim(SE) Many states require that nurses have proof of continuing education to renew their nursing licenses. Many hospitals require the same. Requirements vary. NRC provides an easy way to get continuing education credit using the CINAHL Education site. There is no fee for this service, and certificates can be printed or ed.
