‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ ''Evren Meydan Okuyor!''

Izdos Scouting and Nature Sportmen Youth and Sports Club has organized a camping to the Egean University Observatory, due to‘’ The Universe Challenges‘’ project, 5-6th, June, Izdos İzcilik ve Doğa Sporcuları Gençlik ve Spor Kulubü, Evren Meydan Okuyor Projesi kapsamında,5-6 Haziran 2015 tarihlerinde, Ege Üniversitesi Gözlemevinde, bir kamp düzenlemiştir. ‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’

Five Scout Guides, Two Scout Volunteers and 15 Scouts participated in to the camping of observatory. 5 izci lideri,2 izci gönüllüsü ve 15 izci gözlemevi kampına katılmıştır. ‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’

The observatory was located on a high hill and it's called '' Yıldıztepe’ '(in English, Star Hill). Gözlemevi yüksek bir tepenin üzerinde bulunuyordu ve O'nun ismi ''Yıldıztepe'' idi.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ Observatory has a huge garden. It has three floors an old stone building.It was very interesting place. Gözlemevi, kocaman bir bahçesi ve üç katlı, eski bir taş bina olan çok ilginç bir yerdi.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We walked around in the garden of the observatory. Gözlem Evinin bahçesinde dolaştık.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We had picnics in the garden. Bahçede piknikler yaptık.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ There was many fruit trees, pine trees and rose trees and a lot of flowers in the garden of the Observatory. Gözlem Evinin bahçesinde birçok meyve ağaçları, çam ağaçları ve gül fidanları ve çiçekler vardı.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We saw all of Izmir Bay and it was marvellous panorama. Bütün İzmir Körfezini görebiliyorduk ve manzara harikaydı.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ Astronomers taught us how can we use our hands for measuring angles and using of sundial terms in the the garden. Astronomlar bize bahçede güneş saatinin kullanılmasını ve elimizi kullanarak açıları nasıl ölçebileceğimizi öğrettiler.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We made observations with a telescope at the outdoors. Bir teleskop ile açık havada gözlemler yaptık.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We toured the museum inside the observatory building. Rasathane binasının içinde bulunan müzeyi dolaştık.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We saw old devices for using observations in the sky inside of the museum. Gökyüzünü gözlemek için kullanılan eski cihazları gördük.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We analyzed the meteorite fragments falling to the earth from space. Uzaydan dünyaya düşmüş olan göktaşı parçalarını inceledik.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We examined a large pendulum proving of the earth moving. Dünyanın döndüğünü kanıtlayan büyük bir sarkaçı inceledik.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We examined the sky with a giant telescope which is located on the top floor of the building. Binanın en üst katında bulunan dev bir teleskoptan gökyüzünü inceledik.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ We examined our galaxy,which is located on the Milky Way, the other planets and satellites. They were magnificent. Bizim galaksimiz olan samanyolunda bulunan gezegenleri, uyduları ve yıldızları inceledik. Onlar harika görünüyorlardı.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ Camping in the observatory, making investigations and examining the stars were a very nice experience. Bir gözlemevinde kamp yapma, gözlemler yapma ve yıldızları inceleme çok güzel bir deneyimdi.

‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ When we complete the camp, we understand that ‘’ The Universe Challenges!’’ Kampı tamamladığımızda,biz anladık ki ; ''Evren Meydan Okuyor!''
