MUST ‘Must’ konuşmacının bir durum ya da eylemi “çok gerekli yada zorunlu” gördüğü durumlarda kullanılır. Konuşmacı, kendisinin veya başkasının bir şeyi yapma zorunluluğu olduğunu düşünmüşse, cümlesinde ‘must’ sözcüğünü tercih eder. - Everybody in a family must work. (Ailede herkes çalışmalıdır.) - We must save up some money for the future. (Gelecek için biraz para biriktirmeliyiz.) - We must stop when the light is red. (Trafik ışığı kırmızı yandığında durmalıyız.)
