The fact that parents of Highly Gifteds’ parents expressed during the guidance interviews that their children encountered problems in having communication with the parents themselves and theri social settings, made it necessary to carry out this work. Üstün yetenekli öğrenci ailelerinin üstün yetenekli çocuklarıyla kurdukları iletişim sürecinde ve üstün yetenekli çocukları sosyal çevreleriyle kurdukları iletişim süreçlerinde problemlerle karşılaştıklarını; rehberlik görüşmelerinde dile getirmeleri bu çalışmanın yapılmasını gerekli olduğu kanaatini oluşturmuştur.

ÇALIŞMANIN GELECEKTE YORDANAN FAYDASI: Üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin, aile içinde ve sosyal yaşam sürecinde iletişim problemleri yaşamalarının önleneceği, bu problemlerden ötürü çocukların içe kapanma riskini gelişimsel ve önleyici rehberlik kapsamında ortadan kaldırılacağı düşünülmektedir.
