4 Döndün pervaneye, yandın aşk ile. Güneştin şevkatte, hem muhabbette. Ne gamdan dem vurdun, ne de kederden. Çağlayan ırmaktın, sen gönüllerde. Dünya'ya öğreten pir'din sevgiyi. İstemedin sensiz, o sevgiliyi. Ne gamdan dem vurdun, ne de kederden. Padişahın bildin Şems Tebrizliyi. Görmeden yüzünü, tek ayna sendin. Ona devlet kuşu, kutlu'sun derdin. Ne gamdan dem vurdun, ne de kederden. Can yemeği yerdin, can'dı şerbetin.
