Mustn"t ile insanlara ne yapmamaları gerektiğini söyleriz. Mustn’t ayrıca yasaklamalarda da kullanılır.

SHOULD Should öğüt ya da tavsiye bildirmektedir. Bir kişiye öğütte bulunurken kullanılmaktadır. Must kadar kuvvetli bir zorunluluk ve gereklilik yoktur; sadece tavsiye anlamı taşır ve yaparsan daha iyi olur anlamına gelir.

Olumsuz yönde tavsiye ve öğütler için kullanılır. SHOULDN’T Bir şeyin yapılmasının iyi olmayacağını söyleyebilmek için ise should" un olumsuz hali shouldn"t kullanırız. Olumsuz yönde tavsiye ve öğütler için kullanılır.
