GENEL SORULAR Kaç üniversite ile değişim anlaşmamız var? Yaklaşık 80, fakat süreç devam ediyor yeni anlaşmalar olacak. Bölümler Bazında değişiyor. Hangi kriterlere göre kim? nasıl gönderilecek? Genel geçer kriterlerin dışında her bölüm kendi kriterlerini oluşturacak. Bu anlaşmalarda bölüm uyumu var mı? Kesinlikle zorunlu Öğrencilerden dil yeterliliği talep edilecek mi? ERASMUS Students in Erasmus Student Exchange programs should follow the steps below: Participation Requirements ! Student has to be enrolled to SSU during the exchange study period The student must have graduated the second year of bachelor studies. Student has the right to participate in the Erasmus program (for studies and placement altogether) for 4-6 months in every study level Duration of the Erasmus mobility for studies can be 4-6 months

ERASMUS (C ONT..) Participation Requirements ! Student has to have sufficient language skills for the studies abroad. Most of the universities in Europe offer some courses in English, however universities in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, and France usually teach only in their native language. SSU is required to recognice courses the student has taken at a partner university during his/her exchange period. To ensure full recognition, the student has to sign an individual study plan and learning agreement (approved by the academic unit) prior to the exchange period..

OTHER BILATERAL EXCHANGES ! Students who want to study abroad for one semester, without participating in Erasmus program should consider the options and meet the requirements below : General Requirements ! The students should not have failed from more than 2 courses from their previous years of studies. The students, if required, should present language score of at least 85 from TOEFL IBT or 6,5 from IELTS. The students should be at least in their 5th semester (excluding the English Preparation Years).

O PTION 1: O NE S EMESTER S TUDY A BROAD This option is for students who want to study abroad for only one semester by taking predefined number of credits from the universities that SSU has bilateral agreements with. In this option, SSU students will continue to pay their tuition fee to SSU and will not be asked to pay the tuition fee in receiving institution. The important facts that students need to know : Any student who is paying certain amount of tuition to SSU, he / she will continue to pay that amount to SSU for his/her study in receiving institution. The students will pay their accommodation fees, travel tickets, and other living expanses where they study abroad. The students need to clarify which courses they will take in receiving institution by working with his/her advisor before going abroad. The departments have the right to ask for extra requirements

O PTION 2: D OUBLE D EGREE P ROGRAM In this option, the students study at SSU for 3 years and then go to one of the institutions that SSU has double degree program agreement with in order to get one degree from SSU and one from the receiving institution. Students who chose this option should know: The students can participate in this program after successfully completing the fist 3 years of their study at SSU. The students will not pay any tuition fee to SSU but they will need to pay the tuition fee of the receiving institution. The students will pay their accommodation fees, travel tickets, and other living expanses where they study abroad. The students need to clarify which courses they will take in receiving institution by working with his/advisor. The departments have the right to ask for extra requirements in order to send students for double degree program.
