PROJECT We will do a project for primary and secondary/high schools from various countries (Turkey and other European countries). We would like to show each other the features of our schools, places of living, tourist attractions and historical monuments of countries. As you know this year has been announced as Cultural Heritage year by European Union.So We would like to describe our culture and traditions. Our main aim to do this Project is improving students’ English skills and providing interaction between cultures by using ICT.While carrying out this project,we want to encourage students by means of using some ICT tools. This Project is based on K1 project which is about ICT In Learning English. The key phrases: cultural heritage, foreign language, ICT equipment(web 2.0 tools),learning English by entertaining. We will use a new Twinspace (presentations, videos, photos, project diary, video conference, chatrooms, s, web publishing, and postcards.) Students will have a chance to present, share and compare information of their countries and cultures. They will meet new friends and introduce their countries and customs to eachother. GOALS Each country will give information about their schools and neighbourhoods, Each country will share information about their countries with other partners (general information of own countries, tourist attractions, historical places,culture and traditions) and compare them by using some of ICT tools. improvement of using the ICT equipment, Students will meet new friends and cultures from other countries, improvement of speaking and writing in English, strengthening self-confidence and courage students to speak English, students will create the presentations, videos, photos e.t.c about their countries and teachers will add them to TwinSpace. *Each country will Use ICT in Learning English.
