This method is mostly used in social studies. If it is done in accordance with the statistical principles, generalization can be made about the main mass by moving from a sample which gives a certain degree of confidence.
The benefits of collecting data through the survey method are: Shorten the time to obtain information. Cost is low. Information can be accessed directly. It is very easy to increase the data source that can be reached numerically. Planning and implementation is easy. Attitudes and attitudes of practitioners influence outcomes. The question is likely to remain unanswered because it does not contain a requirement in practice. The personal characteristics of the interviewers can cause the practitioner to take a positive or negative attitude. It is difficult to follow the changes in the polls that require a long process.
Observation Method: - A method of data collection used in the identification of various behavioral causes and in the investigation of complex behaviors (human relationships). - The intensity of observation varies according to the scope of the research. - A single observation is not enough for a formation. Principles of the observation method: Observation; with many sensory organs. Observation; as far as possible from an objective point of view. In situations where different observers have observed; the standard of view should be tried to be established. Observation form and registration scheme should be used correctly and validity of data should be ensured. The observed unit should be intended to protect the natural state during observation.
Interview Method: Interview: The method of collecting data by means of conversation with the persons to be informed. Basic principles in consultation: Must have clear and comprehensive knowledge of the topic Beginning the interview, the researcher should introduce himself / herself and the research Trusted party needs to be gained Ask questions in an impartial and uninteresting way Information about the person being interviewed should be kept confidential The final stage of the interview should be satisfactorily completed for both sides
Experimental techniques With the aim of obtaining data on a research topic; - At the control of the investigator - to determine causal relationships - It is the work of producing the data that is desired to be collected. - In the experimental research, the researcher forms a research environment. - This is often an artificial medium. - In this environment, the researcher controls, ie controls, the relevant events, variables and factors, such as adjusting, modifying, or removing them.
Scanning Method It is the method of obtaining data by examining the available resources related to the researcher's topic. When it comes to resources, written works must come first.
