İngilizce'de Imperatives (emir cümleleri) isminden de anlaşıldığı gibi, bir işin yapılmasını, ya da yapılmamasını emreden cümlelerdir. Emir cümleleri diğer cümlelere nazaran ayrı bir özellik taşır.  ÖZNE FİİL TÜMLEÇ You go to the door Go to the door. Özne yok !
