2 LOCATİON Trabzon Province is a province of Turkey on the Black Sea coast. Located in a strategically important region, Trabzon is one of the oldest trade port cities in Anatolia. Neighbouring provinces are Giresun to the west, Gümüşhane to the southwest, Bayburt to the southeast and Rize to the east.

6 WEATHER The summers are cool and warm in winters, and its seasons are rainy. As we reach the mountainous region to the south, the climate becomes harsher. Displaying as rain on shore turns into snow shape in which rainfall is high. The annual rainfall ranges from 730 mm to 1680 mm. In the central district, snow falls for an average of 3 days a year and stays covered for 7 days. It's rainy 140 days a year. The coldest is -7.4 ° C (9 February 1929) and the warmest 38.2 ° C (20 August 1941).
