2 Bornova Selçuk Yaşar Boyacılık Teknik ve Endüstri Meslek Lisesi About the Programme: Entrepeneurship is studied with 10th grade students during 18 weeks twice a week. In this lesson,Besides virtual company, there are other applications of using technology.

3 Bornova Selçuk Yaşar Boyacılık Teknik ve Endüstri Meslek Lisesi PHASES OF THE VIRTUAL COMPANY 1. FIND THE SUITABLE PEOPLE In this activity the students who have the similar ideas,make groups of 3 or 4. The aim is their cooperation with the copartners.

5 2.CREATE IDEAS After they make the groups(form a company ),they start to think about the business ideas. Examples of ideas and skills: 1. Skill based ideas: Tutoring, Web design, Sports centre, Dance courses, vocational courses 2. Interest based ideas:Sales of garden plants,Greenhousing,Cooking, Pet Shop, Galery,Patisserie 3. Motivation based ideas:Online library,Sales organic products, Counselling 4. Needs based ideas:Bookstore,Day-care center,Resting facility, Virtual sales, Cafe 5. Other different ideas

18 5. ANALISING THE BUSINESS IDEAS After analising the questionnares,they decide the business idea.Then,they continue with the SWOT analysis. They ascertain the strenghts- weaknesses (inner factors) and opportunities-threats(outer factors).

22 7. PRICING It is the fixing level of the prices. Sales price; It is calculated by adding initial costs to profit percentage. Profit rates can be %10-%30 percent.

They can also take financial support from Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey.

They managed to use the technology efficently. They learnt the qualifications of forming a company. They were informed about the foundations and steps for economic help.
