ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHİLD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER Çocuğun cinsel istismarı, bir çocuğun, bir yetişkinin cinsel doyumuna yol açacak bir eylem içerisinde yer alması ya da bu duruma göz yumulması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ayrıca iki çocuk arasındaki cinsel aktiviteler; yaş farkı 4 yaş ve üstü olduğunda, küçük çocuğun zorlama ya da ikna ile cinsel haz amacı güden aktivitelere maruz bırakılması durumunda da cinsel istismar olarak ele alınır. To sexually abuse a child is defined as, to have a child in an activity that would satisfy the sexual hunger of an adult or to condone such an act. Also sexual activities among two kids; when the age difference in between is of 4 years or more, and the younger child is forced or convinced to be a part of the activities that harbor sexual pleasure, are also defined as sexual abuse.

ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHILD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER For children who are a victim of sexual abuse or conduct sexual abuse, there are necessary measures to be followed other than the legal process. Generally, because the attention is focused on the crime and punishment, these procedures are overlooked and sexual offenses cause much worse problems than the damage it already creates.   Cinsel istismara uğrayan çocuklar ve cinsel istismarda bulunan çocuklar için hukuki işlemler dışında yapılması gereken süreçler vardır. Genellikle olayın suç ve ceza kısmına olan odaklanma bu sürecin gözden kaçmasına ve istismar olayının çok daha büyük sorunlara yol açmasına neden olmaktadır.

ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHİLD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER Ülkemizde raporlama süreci sonrası cinsel istismar mağdurları için yapılması gerekenler konusunda son yıllarda bazı projeler sürdürülmektedir. Üniversitelerde yapılanan Çocuk Koruma Merkezleri ve Devlet hastanelerinde oluşturulan çocuk izlem merkezleri cinsel istismar mağduru çocukların ifade alınma,fiziksel ve ruhsal değerlendirme işlemlerinin tek merkezde yapılmasını amaçlamaktadır. In our country, some projects are pursued regarding what to do for sexual abuse victims once they report the crime. Child Protection Centers established in universities and Child Observation Centers established in state hospitals aim to collect all the procedure, from taking statements, to evaluating the victim physically and psychologically, under one roof.

ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHİLD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER Sonrasında çocuğun koruma altına alınması söz konusu olmaktadır. Cinsel istismar olabilecek en büyük travmalardan biridir. Ancak çocukların psikiyatrik ve sosyal açıdan takipleri sistemli bir şekilde yapılmamaktadır. Ayrıca bu projeler henüz yaygınlaşmamıştır ve bir çok eksik içermektedir. Rapor vermek amacı ile yapılan psikiyatrik muayene sonrasında çocuğun tedavi için izleminin sürdürülmesine ilişkin düzenleme yoktur. Aile ile kalan çocuğun tedavisi ailenin isteğine bağlıdır ve çoğu kez sürdürülmemektedir. Afterwards, the child may be taken under protective custody. Sexual abuse is one the major traumas there is. Unfortunately, psychiatric and social follow up cannot be done regularly. Also these projects are still not widely spread and lacks many important issues. After the psychiatric evaluation of the child for the report, there are no procedures regarding the healing process. The abused child's treatment, who remains with their families, depends on the family's request. In many cases, the victims don't get any treatment.

ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHİLD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER Diğer yandan koruma altına alınan çocuklar ayrı merkezlerde toplanmakta, bu merkezlerde tedavi ve uyum süreçleri sağlıklı olarak yapılmamaktadır. Cinsel istismara uğramış çocukların izlemine ilişkin sosyal projeler bulunmamaktadır. Cinsel istismar suçu işlemiş çocuklar ise bu projelerin kapsamı dışındadır. Cinsel istismar suçu işleyen çocukların ise cezalandırılma dışında, izlenmeleri, gerektiğinde tedavi edilmeleri ve hem onlar hem de toplum için gerekli sosyal destek mekanizmaları oluşturulmalıdır. There are no social projects monitoring sexually abused children. Children who conduct sexual abuse are completely irrelevant to these projects. Other than the punishment they get, these abusing children should be monitored, treated and should get necessary social support for both their and the community's sake.

ÇOCUK/MAĞDUR/ZANLI – CHİLD/VİCTIM/OFFENDER These children who offended a crime are sent to a doctor merely to figure out whether they are suitable for the punishment. And if their situation is not an obstacle for the punishment, but the child still in need of psychiatric treatment, nothing else is offered for this person. Not enough is done regarding these sexual offenders and the projects lack a great deal regarding the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of these kids. This, is the main reason why the crime is repeated again and again. Suç işleyen çocuklar sadece ceza verilmeye uygun olup olmadıkları sorusu nedeni ile doktora gönderilmekte, eğer veza almasını engellemeyecek ama tedavisi gereken bir psikiyatrik sorunu varsa bu konuda herhangi bir şey yapılmamaktadır. Cinsel suç işleyen çocukların psikiyatrik değerlendirmeleri, tedavileri ve rehabilitasyonları için yapılanlar yetersizdir. Bu durum suçun tekrarlamasına neden olan en büyük etkendir.
